What it does
HR Protocol embedded
Talk to Rascal and Halcyon directly from the app. No need to alt-tab to Discord for quick lookups.
Offline lore
The Scriptorium syncs once and reads forever. New chapters push silently to disk.
Live show pings
Get notified when a stream goes live or a Pulse incident lands. Snooze per-channel.
Soundtrack player
The Doombringerz score, mood-tagged, plays from your library. No browser tab needed.
Title library
Every issue, ebook, demo, soundtrack you own — pinned to one shelf.
Local-first
Tokens stay in OS keychain. The app talks to doombringerz.com over HTTPS only.

Do I need a Doombringerz account?
A free account lets the app sync your library and notifications. The Scriptorium and Codex work without one.
Is the app open source?
Not yet. The client is private during the beta. The plan is to open-source the lore-reader engine once it stabilises.
When does the beta open?
When it's good enough that we'd use it daily. Subscribe to the dev diary to hear first.
Will there be a mobile version?
The Living Grimoire is the mobile reader. A full Universe-on-mobile is a longer roadmap item.
