The Stillpoint

Before you read further, understand this: the Stillpoint is not a place. You cannot travel to it. You cannot find it on a map, because maps require space, and space requires change, and the Stillpoint is the absence of change.

The Stillpoint is the primordial state of intended stasis - perfect order, no choice, no error, no song. It is what the universe was before it decided to be a universe. The Observer existed within it, content in perfect inaction, until the crime of caring shattered that contentment forever.

Reality left the Stillpoint behind the way a river leaves its source. You can point upstream and say there, but the water has moved on, and so has everything else. The Unknown Entity wants to drag it all back. Every correction it attempts, every timeline it tries to rewrite, every act of free will it tries to erase - all of it is an attempt to return the river to the stone.

The Stillpoint is silence remembering itself. The universe is what happened when silence forgot to stay quiet.
